Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Hasanat mobile application ("App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Hasanat ("we", "us", "our").

2. Description of Service

Hasanat is a spiritual wellness application that provides daily dhikr (remembrance of Allah), the 99 Names of Allah, and hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. The App is designed to help users build and maintain consistent spiritual habits.

3. Eligibility

The App is available to users of all ages. If you are under the age of 18, you confirm that you have parental or guardian consent to use the App. No account creation or personal data submission is required to use the App.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Hasanat offers both free and premium content. Premium features are available through auto-renewable subscriptions.

4.1 Subscription Plans

  • Weekly subscription: $4.99 USD per week
  • Annual subscription: $29.99 USD per year

4.2 Free Trial

Certain subscription plans may include a free trial period. If you do not cancel before the end of the free trial, you will be automatically charged for the subscription. Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

4.3 Billing

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period.
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
  • The renewal cost equals the price of the current subscription plan.

4.4 Managing Subscriptions

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's account settings:

  • iOS: Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions
  • Android: Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to premium content until the end of your paid period.

4.5 Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple or Google. Refund requests must be directed to the respective store. We do not process refunds directly.

5. User Conduct

You agree to:

  • Use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
  • Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its systems.
  • Not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the App's content.
  • Not reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, graphics, and functionality of the App are the exclusive property of Hasanat and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Quranic text and hadiths are in the public domain; however, translations, descriptions, and curated compilations remain our intellectual property.

7. Religious Content Disclaimer

The App provides religious content for educational and spiritual purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, we do not warrant that all content is free from error. The App is not a substitute for guidance from qualified Islamic scholars. Users are encouraged to verify religious content independently.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Hasanat shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, or goodwill, arising out of your access to or use of the App.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Effective date" at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
